Best City in Asia-Pacific
DestinAsian, the prestigious travel magazine, recently announced the results of its 17th annual Readers’ Choice Awards for 2024, covering various categories in the tourism sector across the Asia-Pacific region.
Best Cities 2024
In the category of the top 10 Best Cities 2024, Bangkok clinched the number one spot, followed by Tokyo, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney, Shanghai, Taipei, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Best Islands
Moving on to the rankings for the Best Islands in the Asia-Pacific region, Bali took the lead, followed by the Maldives. Thailand’s Phuket and Samui secured the third and fourth positions, respectively.
Best Airports
In the category of the Best Airports in Asia-Pacific, Singapore Changi Airport claimed the top position, with Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and Hong Kong International Airport securing the second and third spots.
Best Airlines
As for the best airlines in the region, Singapore Airlines ranked first, followed by Emirates and Thai Airways. Similarly, in the Premium Economy Class Airlines category, Thai Airways landed in third place, while Bangkok Airways took the second spot after AirAsia in the Low-Cost Carrier category.
