Getting around on foot is easy enough for short trips, and the internet’s dependable, which made working on the road easier for me. It felt like a great spot to unwind while still being reasonably close to Chiang Mai city centre when I felt like some urban buzz.

Negatives

There aren’t many eating places within immediate reach, so you usually need to travel out if you’re after more varied food. Also, public transport options are quite limited, which can be a bit frustrating if you don’t drive. That, coupled with fewer shops nearby, made some everyday errands a little inconvenient.
