Living here gives me a sense of calm that’s hard to find in busier parts of Chiang Mai. The area feels very safe, and I appreciate the quiet streets and plenty of green spaces which make work breaks and weekends feel peaceful and refreshing. It’s a great spot if you want distance from buzz but still enjoy a slow-paced lifestyle.

The biggest downside is the limited dining and nightlife options nearby, so sometimes I have to travel a bit when I want something new or social. Also, getting around without a motorbike or car isn’t that easy since public transport options here are quite sparse.

Not only do I enjoy walking bases with great food options, but it's comforting to know the area is considered safe. I would absolutely suggest Hang Dong to anyone who seeks a relaxed but enriching time in Chiang Mai.
