Nong Han has this wonderful charm that really reflects the local culture while providing a range of dining options, which I found quite enjoyable. Some restaurants serve delicious, authentic Thai dishes, and the mountainous views are so calming at sunset. The quieter atmosphere compared to Udon Thani city, combined with really nice streets, makes it easy to unwind here.
Negatives
While the overall vibe is lovely, getting everywhere might take a bit of patience because some of the roads are not in the best shape. Plus, I’d appreciate having reliable internet for work, but you can’t have it all in a relaxed environment after all.
