Thap Tai is a peaceful little escape if you want to get away from the noise of busier towns. The views around here are really beautiful, with lots of green spaces perfect for slow afternoon walks or bike rides. I enjoyed how safe and quiet the neighborhood felt, which made it a nice place to recharge.

Negatives

The only tricky part was the limited public transport options, so getting around without a car could be frustrating. Also, dining choices were a bit sparse if you’re used to a bit more variety, which is something to keep in mind if you don’t want to eat the same dishes repeatedly.

It’s wonderfully quiet in the evenings, and I always felt safe walking around after dark, which is important when you live alone. The roads are reliable if you want to explore Hua Hin or Thap Tai and you don’t mind having a bit of a drive.

There aren’t many dining choices nearby, so you need a car if you want to eat out without travelling a bit further. Public transport options are limited, which could be a hassle if you don't drive regularly or want quick town access without renting a vehicle.
