Stunning Beachfront Land With Resort Plans in Hua Hin
The beachfront land is 12,256 Sq. Meters / 7.66 Rai in area, which also has a view of the islands and is the last plot left on Kao Tao Beach where you can build up to 7-8 stories high.
It can be developed for high-end beachfront property, be it private luxury residences or 5-star hotels, or just construction-prepped land.
The Beachfront land venue in Hua-Hin is about a two-and-a-half-hour drive from central Bangkok or its International Airport. The seaside town itself has kept much of its traditional charm yet has all the modern conveniences one may ever need, such as hospitals, an airport, department stores, cinemas, hotels and restaurants serving both local and international cuisine.
Located on the beautiful beach of Khao Tao with its unique sand dunes, large shady trees and a panoramic vista on two enchanting islands, enjoy the tranquillity and wonderful sea air.
Hua Hin has been the favourite Thai resort for over a century. The area was discovered in 1910 by one of the Royal Princes on a hunting trip and the patronage of the Royal Family soon gave it great prestige as an ideal getaway from the sultry metropolis of Bangkok. The tranquil fishing village was turned into the Royal Resort and consequently became popular among Siam’s nobility and upper class.

The construction of a railway line from Bangkok arriving in Hua Hin in 1911 ensured its accessibility and popularity with a wider part of the Thai public. The original quaint train station, built in teak wood, is still operational to this day and is on the route of the Eastern and Oriental Express, on its journey to and from Singapore.
Hua Hin continued to develop in its own leisurely way, as an aristocratic resort with the added attraction of The Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, which opened in 1924, making it Thailand’s oldest course, among today’s eight other fine courses including the world-famous Black Mountain Golf Course, which was nominated the best new course in the Asia Pacific Region and the best championship golf course in Thailand. The area’s newest course, Sea Pine Golf Course, is within walking distance from the beach land on Khao Tao Beach.
The Railway Hotel, now the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, was built by the State Railways of Thailand in 1923 in the architectural style of old Siam, following the period’s international trend for recuperative spa resorts which attracted affluent foreign patrons. There are now almost a dozen five-star resorts in Hua Hin including the exclusive Chiva Som Destination Spa, which caters to celebrated actors, musicians, socialites and sports personalities.
In 1928, King Rama VII built Klai Kangwon (Far From Worries) Palace which remains until present an official Royal Residence. It is still frequently used by members of the Royal Family and is open to the public for visits. Many of Bangkok’s elite have built their own beachfront homes along the curving sandy bay, enjoying leisurely family weekends in a resort that has maintained its unique identity.

Positives
Nong Kae offers a nice balance of quiet residential vibe with enough amenities close at hand. You don’t have to travel far for dining or a convenient spot to catch public transport, which makes daily life much easier. The presence of green spaces adds a refreshing touch, perfect for weekend strolls or a peaceful retreat from the city bustle.
Negatives
There isn’t much in the way of gyms nearby, so it might feel a bit limiting if you prioritize a serious workout routine close to home. Also, while there are some restaurants, those looking for a wider range of dining options might find it somewhat restricted compared to central Hua Hin.

Positives
Hua Hin truly won me over with its tropical charm. I find sunbathing on the beach leisurely most afternoons, and gathering fresh produce at the local markets is right up my alley. The ease of feeling safe while walking around and meeting diverse people transforms your days into an enjoyable routine. For anyone just wanting to retreat from the brisk pace of bigger cities, it's worth checking out here.
Negatives
While the range of dining options isn't incredibly vast, favorite local spots definitely make up for it. There are periods where it feels like options to try something new are a bit limited. Also, a lack of dedicated community centers might make forming closer relationships and connections with fellow expats a tad more challenging.
