The bungalow resort’s picturesque restaurant with sala are viewable from the road and an attraction that draws in lots of outside guests. Two of the “liveliest” bars (lively for Koh Yao) are also less than 100 meters walk.
Guest Profile / DemographicsUp until a few years ago in some months in low season there were literally no tourists (May - June / Sept - mid Oct) and so the low season was really low, now there are tourists in the low season and a big noticeable jump in the last two years.
Traditional tourists to Koh Yao Noi were backpackers and adventure tourists (rock climbers, Muay Thai etc), the last couple of years has been the demographic shift towards older ‘more mainstream’ tourists. More resorts mid and upper range resorts have developed in last few years and change in demographics is due to both demand and supply factors.
