Living in Huai Yai feels like having a little retreat not too far from the busier parts of Pattaya. The area has a nice mix of nature around, so weekend strolls in green spaces are always refreshing. If you appreciate a quieter neighborhood yet want decent dining options close by, this place works well.

Negatives

One thing that takes some getting used to is the distance from public transport and shopping centers; you’ll likely need a car to get around smoothly. The nightlife is quite limited here, so if you’re after more entertainment during evenings, this isn’t the ideal spot.

Silk Road Place truly feels like a wholesome community. I appreciate the quiet atmosphere and knowing that I can pursue a healthy lifestyle here, with parks nearby for my walks. The variety of dining options around really caters to different cravings, and the friendly vibe among neighbors adds to the charm. It's become my little oasis near Pattaya.

Negatives

Access to public transport can be a bit inconvenient if you’re without a car, and I sometimes find the nightlife lacking for a bubbly evening out. I also wish there were more shopping centers nearby, as a girl likes her shopping options. Additionally, without a gym close by, I'm often stuck working out at home. It would be great to have those amenities within reach.

Positives

Pattaya definitely charms those who love a mix of adventure and relaxation. The diverse beach life, active markets, and an array of wonderful restaurants make visiting here delightful. I’ve got to recommend coming here for a getaway where vibrant culture and coastal fun mingled beautifully.

Negatives

One can’t really ignore that sometimes the increased tourist influx also brings occasional noise and higher pollution levels. You might find drives around maybe crowded or long waits at popular venues, which can be a bit frustrating.
