About The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat
The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat: Discover a New Way to Live in Bangkok
Located along the new Charoen Rat Road, The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat brings a fresh approach to living, combining convenience and calm. Developed by Land & Houses, this impressive 38-floor high-rise, home to 855 units, finds its place in the emerging Bang Kho Laem area. While it doesn't have the same hustle and bustle as Charoen Krung and Rama III roads, this spot offers a great mix of city life and peaceful escape.
A Quick Look at the Project
This standout project, with its unique, three-pointed design, gives both residents and the surrounding community some breathing space from the city's pace. It's a smartly planned urban escape, letting residents enjoy different views, whether it's toward the nearby Grand Howard Best Western Hotel, the low-rise Charoen Krung area, or the skyline of Supalai Lite.
Units & Living Spaces
The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat mainly features one-bedroom units that range from 32.6 to 37.6 square meters, ideal for singles or couples looking for cozy yet comfortable spots. For those who need more room, the two-bedroom units offer 55.2 to 75.3 square meters of living space for a bigger lifestyle. With ceilings at 2.6 meters, the rooms feel open and airy, perfectly suited for modern living.
Amenities to Make Daily Life Better
While many places promise luxury, The Key focuses on creating design that works. The terrace on the 5th floor is all about having essential amenities close at hand, offering spaces for relaxation and fitness without having to go far. The 12 x 40-meter pool is perfect for leisurely swims or serious workout laps, and the nearby gym and activity area overlook the landscaped garden and Charoen Rat Road, providing refreshing views for your everyday exercise routine.
- Parking: There’s ample parking, which covers about 52% of the residents' cars and can go up to 60% with double parking spaces available.
- Privacy & Design: From the 6th floor and up, the single corridor layout adds extra privacy for all the units.
The Benefits of the Location
Charoen Rat Road might not be the ultimate in convenience yet, but it's definitely in a good spot. Even though train options like the BTS Surasak and BRT Charoen Rat aren't right next door, getting around by car is easier thanks to the road’s closeness to expressways connecting to key parts of Bangkok. With Sathorn, Chan, and Rama III roads all nearby, getting to work or enjoying a riverside outing is simple.
A quick trip to Central Rama 3, Asiatique, or Robinson Bangrak satisfies shopping and entertainment needs. Plus, being near places like the Montien Riverside Hotel and reputed schools like Shrewsbury International School and Bangkok Christian College highlight The Key's convenient location.
A Look at the Community
The area around The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat is growing into a mix of old and new stories. It may not have the vibrancy of the main streets right now, but there's promise of more excitement to come. The design's focus on great views and respecting the community connects well with city dwellers who value a bit of peace amid a bustling city.
Could This Be Your New Home?
Whether you're a Bangkok local or new to city life, The Key Sathorn - Charoen Rat might be the perfect place to start your next chapter. It's a smart pick for those who appreciate car-friendly travels but still want a quiet break from Bangkok’s high-energy areas.

Questions & Answers
(2)How can I make profit from buying a condo in Bangkok?
Hello Ye... This ultra-luxury property in Bangkok offers strong investment potential through both capital appreciation and rental income. Historically, prime Bangkok real estate has appreciated by approximately 3–6% per year, supported by ongoing infrastructure development and limited supply in premium segments. Rental yields for high-end properties typically range from 4–6% gross annually, depending on location and unit size. With the right positioning, this property could generate a combined annual return of up to 8–10% before costs, making it an attractive option for long-term investors seeking both income and value growth.

Are there pros/cons of buying a condo on Thong Lo vs Ekkamai? Or are they similar?
Thong Lor and Ekkamai are very close to each other. Just a street over, however Ekkamai typically is better value yet still just 5-10 min away.
While close to each other, Thonglor is more developed and has numerous shops, bars and restaurants. It is a more "desirable" neighbourhood and in demand. It will attract higher prices for both rent and sale. Ekkamai is a developing area, and will eventually catch up to Thonglor. So, if you like trendy areas, Tonglor will be your more expensive option, if you prefer to stretch your budget a little further, Ekkamai is a good option with a strong potential to increase in value.
Ekkamai is a bit (but a bit) quieter Other is pretty much the same - all depends on the specific project
