About DEN Vibhavadi
Exploring the DEN Vibhavadi: A Practical Living Space in the Heart of Bangkok
Located in the lively Lak Si area of Bangkok, DEN Vibhavadi is a smart and budget-friendly option for home buyers looking for comfort and practicality. Developed by Mankhong Keha Karn Public Company Limited, this place appeals to individuals or small families who appreciate simple design with necessary conveniences. Let's take an honest look at what this development offers in terms of features, amenities, and location benefits, without the usual sales pitch.
Project Overview
Sitting along the busy Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, DEN Vibhavadi consists of eight stories across three low-rise buildings, with a total of 699 units. Each unit provides a compact, functional space without any unnecessary frills. With areas ranging from 28 to 29 square meters, it's perfect for young professionals, couples, or small families living the city life. Back in 2012, the condo started at 1,120,000 baht, making it a really cost-effective choice for city living.
A Peek Inside: Property Details
Every unit, whether a studio or one-bedroom, is carefully crafted to make the most of the available space. Think about stepping into a place where every inch counts; some units are narrow, others wider, each offering a smart layout that fits well with Bangkok's fast-paced vibe. Whether you want a layout where the bathroom is connected to the kitchen or directly accessible from the living room, the design ensures space is used efficiently.
The development comes fully furnished to save you the trouble of finding essentials. It includes built-in wardrobes, modern kitchen setups, and comfy living spaces. The floors are durable laminate, with ceramic and granite tiles adding style to the kitchen and balcony areas. The bathrooms have sleek fixtures, making it a practical space designed for daily life without going overboard on luxury.
Amenities: Functional and Shared Spaces
- Garden Area on the Ground Floor: A simple place to catch your breath away from the city's hustle.
- Lobby: A chic, practical entrance that feels welcoming.
- Parking: Spots for 222 cars, covering about 32% of the units.
- Security: Access Card System and CCTV monitoring to keep you safe every day.
- Clubhouse: Shared with the neighboring townhouse project, adding more communal facilities.
While not overflowing with amenities, the focus is sensible: it encourages community spirit through shared spaces and keeps costs down with practical features.
Location Insights
Located along the main Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, DEN Vibhavadi is a convenient choice for drivers. With a handy U-turn bridge close by, getting around the city is straightforward. The Lak Si Toll Plaza offers quick links to the heart of central Bangkok. While traffic can sometimes be tough, smart commuting and nearby major roads make it convenient for car owners.
For those using public transport, there's hope on the horizon, with plans for the Pink and Red Line electric trains to eventually cover the area. This future transit option could be a real game-changer, but it's still a bit of a wait before it becomes reality.
For everyday needs, although there aren't many retail options very close, IT Square is just 1 km away, providing plenty of shopping choices. For now, leisurely walks to nearby shops may not be the highlight, but for those who rely on cars, it's not much of an issue.
Concluding Remarks
If you're looking for something grand with loads of on-site amenities, DEN Vibhavadi might not be the place for you. But its strengths are in its affordability, driver-friendly location, and understated yet effective design for everyday living. It's about finding a balance between easy commuting and lifestyle needs, making it a great spot for practical-minded folks who appreciate its straightforward approach.

Questions & Answers
(2)How can I make profit from buying a condo in Bangkok?
Hello Ye... This ultra-luxury property in Bangkok offers strong investment potential through both capital appreciation and rental income. Historically, prime Bangkok real estate has appreciated by approximately 3–6% per year, supported by ongoing infrastructure development and limited supply in premium segments. Rental yields for high-end properties typically range from 4–6% gross annually, depending on location and unit size. With the right positioning, this property could generate a combined annual return of up to 8–10% before costs, making it an attractive option for long-term investors seeking both income and value growth.

Thanks for your replies and helping me out!
Are there pros/cons of buying a condo on Thong Lo vs Ekkamai? Or are they similar?
Thong Lor and Ekkamai are very close to each other. Just a street over, however Ekkamai typically is better value yet still just 5-10 min away.
While close to each other, Thonglor is more developed and has numerous shops, bars and restaurants. It is a more "desirable" neighbourhood and in demand. It will attract higher prices for both rent and sale. Ekkamai is a developing area, and will eventually catch up to Thonglor. So, if you like trendy areas, Tonglor will be your more expensive option, if you prefer to stretch your budget a little further, Ekkamai is a good option with a strong potential to increase in value.
Ekkamai is a bit (but a bit) quieter Other is pretty much the same - all depends on the specific project
