Positives
Chalong in Phuket has been amazing for our family. We absolutely love the area because it’s perfect for families, with great schools nearby. The traffic is pretty manageable most of the year, which is a big plus. We also love how central it is – we're close to beautiful beaches, parks, schools, Phuket Town, and shopping malls. The greenery is wonderful, and since it's mostly residential, we don't get the same tourist rush as other areas. It feels super safe here, though we do suggest being careful if you’re on a motorbike. And there is the Chalong Pier if you like dive or go out on boats.
Negatives
It's not the best if you are just visiting or want to live really near a beach or if you want to enjoy Phuket's nightlife. You probably need a car or motorbike to move around, not great for pedestrians.

What are the key factors to consider when buying land in Chalong?

Key factors include the land's proximity to amenities, the potential for property appreciation, local construction regulations, and existing infrastructure. It's also wise to conduct a thorough due diligence process, which includes checking title deeds, land zoning, access rights, and environmental evaluation.
