Being close to public transport helped me get around conveniently, especially when heading into central Kanchanaburi. There isn’t much variety when it comes to dining or entertainment, so evenings could sometimes feel a bit dull. For someone used to having gyms nearby, it could be limiting if you’re trying to stick to a fitness routine. Nightlife is practically non-existent, so if that’s your thing, you might need to look elsewhere.
