Loads of charm and beautifully green surroundings make Pong Pha an ideal spot if you prefer calm and peace, especially coming from a busier city background. It's incredibly safe here, even at night, which makes me feel very relaxed when I walk around after dark. Being surrounded by natural beauty provides some really refreshing moments that you don’t often get closer to urban areas.
Negatives
The biggest downside is getting around without a car since public transport options are pretty limited, so planning trips can sometimes feel like a bit of effort. There aren’t many places to grab a decent meal locally, so dining options get routine quickly. Also, if exercise routines matter, you’ll have to travel a fair bit since gyms or fitness centers nearby just aren’t really a thing.
