The location in Maritime City is quite convenient for getting around Dubai, especially with good access to public transport and nearby malls. There are plenty of dining options which made weekday evenings simple, and reliable internet was perfect for work projects. It felt like an easy place to maintain a comfortable city lifestyle without feeling totally disconnected.

It was a bit of a downside that the area doesn’t have much green space or parks nearby, which I really missed on weekends. Also, there aren’t many community centers, so finding places to relax outside or join local groups was harder than I expected.

Mina Street in Bur Dubai is super convenient if you rely on public transport, which is a blessing in Dubai’s traffic. There’s a great mix of dining options around and plenty of shopping nearby, so running errands or grabbing a bite is never a hassle. The roads are decent, and it feels pretty safe around here too.

The biggest downside would be the lack of green spaces — it can feel a bit concrete-heavy, especially if you like spots to relax outdoors. Also, biking around isn’t really a thing here because there aren’t dedicated bike lanes, which might be a turn-off if you're into cycling.
