The location is wonderfully accessible with plenty of public transport nearby, making daily commuting easy. There's a great variety of restaurants along the marina, and walking by the waterfront gives a nice sense of calm despite being right in the city. Shopping amenities are a stone’s throw away which made errands really convenient during my stay.
Negatives
It’s a bit lacking in green spaces if you’re hoping for more parks or natural spots to unwind in, and cycling isn’t the easiest here since bike lanes are basically non-existent. If you’re someone who likes a bit more greenery or bike-friendly paths, this might feel a little limiting.

Living in Jumeirah Gate Tower 1 has been such a positive experience for me. The variety of restaurants and cafes around makes dining out quite delightful, and having the beach so close is just a bonus. Plus, getting around is a breeze with public transport nearby, which is especially great for busy workdays.
Negatives
While it's mostly a wonderful place to live, it can get a bit noisy at times, especially during weekends. Also, I do miss having a community center nearby where I could engage with neighbors or take part in events, and there aren’t really good biking options around.
