Living in Shams 2 meant I was always close to the beach and a wide selection of restaurants. Getting around was really easy, thanks to the nearby metro and tram, and being so close to the waterfront really offered some relaxing moments after busy workdays. Shops and cafes were just a short stroll away, so it never felt like I lacked anything nearby.

Sometimes the streets felt a bit noisy, especially during peak tourist season, which can get tiring over time. I also remember that some areas weren’t very well lit at night, which made walking a bit uncomfortable after dark.
